The following are on-going projects I'm working on.

ECE 4534 - Embedded Systems
Fall 2008

Embedded Systems is a course focused on team-based development of a single embedded product over the course of the semester.  We were assigned to create a PIC-based microphone sensor network that would provide user location information and use that to make contextual decisions such as lighting or music.  The network will be controlled by a Diligent Spartan 3E board which will interact with a database and a user via webservices.

Smart Dorm Room Interdisciplinary Design Team
Fall 2008

I'm working on a research team with Marketing, Industrial Design and other ECE undergraduate students at Viriginia Tech to examine the possibilities of dorm rooms aiding those with disabilities. It's planned to span at least two semesters, with Fall 2008 focused on product concept development and feasability studies.

ECE 4524 - Artificial Intelligence
Fall 2008

AI is a project-based course aimed at examination of basic artificial intelligence systems using Python.  We'll be working with partners and our textbook is Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach.

Network Application Design is a introductory course for building network-driven applications in .NET C#. 

CommunityStarcraft.com is a community-based website created for the upcoming Starcraft 2 RTS game from Blizzard.  I've created it using Joomla 1.5 and a handful of useful plugins, as well as a customized template.  It is a joint effort between myself and my brother This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and is still in the first stages of growth.  We are using it as a prototype for other comminity websites we plan on launching, and as a study into the effort required to initialize a community-driven enterprise.

I provide update and maintenance services for Coleman & Associates, LLC at ColemanAssociatesOnline.com, including coordinating with affiliates and integration with LoopNet's LoopLink service.  This site was originally designed by Lawrence at New Bern Signs, with an adaptation from an image map to HTML, Javascript and SSI by myself and other minor modifications.

I help maintain and update UHF Development Group, LLC's site, UHFDevelopmentGroup.com.  The site design isn't mine, but was ported to GreatHistoricApartments.com and ColemanAssociatesOnline.com (previous version) by me.
